The one-fourth task of the Padma bridge, has been completed.  The Padma is supposed to be completed in 2018 and after that, it would be the largest bridge of the Bangladesh, which will successfully connect the southwest part of the country with the other parts of Bangladesh.  However, it is very hopeful news that, the completing tasks of this bridge are updated with a rapid condition and it is hoped that, the authority will be able to finish this within a certain period indeed. The Padma Bridge is a big dream of the country people. The constructing works of building the Padma Bridge have been the response of the Chinese company. China Major Bridge Engineering Company.   They are maintaining their schedule regularly. They are also showing their skills and talents in the task of building this bridge. A bunch of Chinese and Bangladeshi technician and labors are helping them to build one of the largest and the strongest bridge of the world.  About 3000 foreign impact equipments are handled by the expert engineer and the technicians daily.  So that, there is no chance or option is available to skip any part of the task anytime by neglecting.

The equipments, which the constructor company brought to build the Padma bridge, from them, the more attractive equipments are, almost 2500 Ton Hydraulic Hammer, 500Ton Hammer, heavy, powerful Dresser machine, powerful crane,  modern test pile, and so other various modern equipments which are very big and heavy weighted.  The stones, which will be needed in this constructive works, will be brought from the Bhutan.  Almost 80% equipments will be purchased from the abroad, in order to get the best quality to build this most powerful bridge of this country. Moreover, almost 300 engineer and 500 labors are appointed in this task on various sectors. The CEO of the Padma Bridge Project, Dewan Abdul Quader has informed that, almost 23% works have already been finished. And the road constructing works of the both sides of the bridge is almost about 49%. This bridge will be consisted of 42 pillars.  The full length of this bridge will be 6.15KM and it would be multi Purposes Bridge.  The ground part of this bridge will be used for the railway and the upper part of the bridge will be used for the other vehicles.

These piles will be about 120 miters, and the foundation of this bridge will be built below the water, which will be similar to the 40 storied building. Somewhere, this depth also can be 150 miters. The other piling task is running, but it has not finished yet.  The soil examinee committee has to examine some parts of the soils in order to get the exact gravity of the soil to build the pillars.
