Undoubtedly, Paxos is an oasis of tranquillity for those lovers looking for rekindling the flame. On Paxos, You will find beautiful beaches and lovely restaurants serving fresh fish and seafood. The best time to enjoy the magic atmosphere is the afternoon when you can sit at a table in a tavern to drink ouzo while admiring the sunset.

3. Mykonos

Mykonos is the best choice for those who wants to party. The festive atmosphere and the desire for the fun take over anyone who has landed on this island. Luckily, the massive tourism hasn’t destroyed the beauty of the landscapes. Mykonos features picturesque houses and alleys of Cycladic architecture overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Digging a little beyond appearances, the soul of Mykonos remains as a traditional fishing village.

4. Tilos

Tilos is home to a mountainous and challenging terrain in which to venture on excursions as well as a rich flora and fauna. In the small and remote Tilos, you will be able to find face to face with animals that will make you believe to be to other latitudes like exotic birds and pygmy elephants. The great beaches are stone and hard to reach, but when you arrive, you will risk being the only visitors, even on a very August 15th. And at that moment you will be surrounded by peace and nature.

5. Ikaria

Located in the Aegean Sea, about 20 km from Samos, it takes the name of Icarus, which the legend wants to have fallen into the sea near this island. The beauty of Ikaria remains in being so inaccessible with a mountainous and wild terrain but features breathtaking views. The small bays are beautiful; one can relax in the hot springs and the typical architecture transports in an atmosphere of other times, amplified by the stillness that is breathed. Will all these characteristics make the population of Ikaria one of the longest in the world?

6. Skyros

In the Sporades archipelago, in the western Aegean Sea, Skyros is the largest and probably the quietest among these islands. There is no nightlife here, but during the day you can rent a bicycle or a moped and prowl the inner streets until you see a beach on the horizon. The northern part is green and undulating, while the southern part is arid and bare.

7. Gavdos

The most southerly island of Europe rightly enters our classification by its uncontaminated soul and faithful to the tradition. Here tourist structures are few, but you can also sleep on the beach under the stars, so much peace will infuse this place. The beaches of Gavdos always rank as the most beautiful beaches in Greece and probably the whole continent. Do not miss Cabo Tripiti, the southernmost point in Europe.
