The Italians serviced and repaired the palace, and it was then used as a holiday area for Victor Emmanuel III of Italy. Benito Mussolini afterwards used the palace as a holiday spot. Recent Changes
Sometime in the year of 1947 the Treaty of Peace with Italy concluded that the Dodecanese were to be transferred to Greece. Then in the year of 1948, Rhodes as well as the remaining Dodecanese agreed to the transfer.
