3 – Warranties and Guarantees

The warranty will protect you from a faulty countertop, and will insure you against any water damage with repair services included as and when necessary. If a warranty is included in the price then make sure that you read the terms, fully understanding what is and what is not included and the length of the warranty. 4 – What Maintenance is Required to the Kitchen Worktop

Granite countertops are easy to maintain, it is best to check with your supplier what maintenance they recommend and what would make you invalidate your warranty. For example annual resealing is normally fully recommended, your supplier may be able to offer you a check up appointment to ensure that this occurs. If it seems like your supplier recommends a complicated care and maintenance routine, you may want to shop elsewhere.

5 – Timescales

How long will it take the kitchen to be installed and when will this occur. Also asking whom the kitchen fitters will be to make sure that you know who is going to be knocking at your door.

6 – The Price

Most importantly how much will it all cost. You need to be wary of add on fees, for additional labour costs. You also need to safeguard against any damage by checking that your supplier has the correct insurance in place in case any injuries occur whilst on your premises.
