4 Dos And Don’ts For Your Health

  • Eat Right

It is important to eat right. Eating right means having a balanced diet with all the vital nutrients in the right amount. Our body needs all the minerals and vitamins in a certain amount to stay healthy. Both (efficiency and a deficiency) of a mineral can cause the body to dysfunction. It is suggested that you visit a nutritionist to understand your body’s requirement and prepare a diet plan accordingly.

  • Drink Right

It is important to drink at least eight glasses of water a day. The requirement may change depending on temperature etc, as people living in hot regions need more water. It is very important to drink water as it purifies the blood and helps in the excretion of toxic materials found in the body. Drinking water early in the morning (right after waking up) is recommended.

  • Exercise

Exercising is important for everyone to remain in a good shape. It doesn’t necessarily mean to pump up and do weights. Simple exercises, such as jogging and yoga have been proven to be very good. As per experts, early morning is the best time for a workout session.

  • Stay Happy

It is important to be a positive person and stay happy. It has been proven that people who are content with their lives tend to be healthier. Unhappy or dejected people run a higher risk of falling sick and complaining of ill health.


  • Don’t Take Drugs

Many people are in the habit of buying over-the-counter medicines (sleeping pills etc). As per reports, it is okay to take such medicines on rare occasions, but making it a habit has negative effects. If you have a headache or if you cannot sleep, it is better to consult a doctor and reach the root of the problem than to take drugs.

  • Don’t Forget the Time Factor

Remember that a time lapse exists. It will take some time for the results to show. You need to continue putting in your efforts and the results will gradually start showing. Leaving exercising just because you see no improvement after a few days’ effort is not a wise move.

  • Don’t Pressurize Yourself

Do not put any extra pressure on your body or mind. It is important that you take every step slowly instead of jumping the gun. Be passionate about what you want to achieve and try to do so without putting any extra burden on your shoulders.

  • Don’t Go Extreme

Do not try any extreme trick: crash dieting, steroids etc. Such moves have been proven to be bad and can cause serious damage. If you need aid, make it a point to visit a health specialist.
