The constructing works of building the Padma Bridge have been the response of the Chinese company. China Major Bridge Engineering Company. They are maintaining their schedule regularly. The CEO of the Padma Bridge Project, Dewan Abdul Quader has informed that, almost 23% works have already been finished. And the road constructing works of the both sides of the bridge is almost about 49%. This bridge will be consisted of 42 pillars. The full length of this bridge will be 6.15KM and it would be multi Purposes Bridge. The ground part of this bridge will be used for the railway and the upper part of the bridge will be used for the other vehicles.
These piles will be about 120 miters, and the foundation of this bridge will be built below the water, which will be similar to the 40 storied building. Somewhere, this depth also can be 150 miters. The other piling task is running, but it has not finished yet. The soil examinee committee has to examine some parts of the soils in order to get the exact gravity of the soil to build the pillars.
