Raila delivered the speech in Dallas, Texas on July 29, after the grand opening of the meeting between the investors and Cord governors.
The aged politician requested the businesspersons of the United States to offer their exclusive support to the governors of Kenya by directing investments to Kenya. He encouraged the businesspersons by saying that the investments in several counties across the nation would offer fair economic growth. Moreover, he is hopeful about the fact that besides playing a vital role in the economic growth of the nation, this would also create plenty of job opportunities for the youths and resolve the problems of unemployment.
Raila Odinga believed that in the order generated in Kenya recently, governors play the most vital role. They are regarded as the most prominent symbol of the latest order being established in Kenya. In his speech, he expressed his hopes that governors would be aware of their responsibility, as the success of the country would depend on the success of governors to a large extent. Moreover, he added that it is the responsibility of the governors to find the best effective way to acquire success. In order to reach the goals, they must be liable enough to find the ways that require modification.
The leader said that governors of Kenya would lead the country to fulfill the dream of an equitable society in which opportunities of progress and advancement spread uniformly across the country.
