4 Things You Need to Take on Your Honeymoon

The big day has been and gone and it’s time to set sail for the exotic honeymoon destination. You might think that it’s a fairly similar packed suitcase you need as it’s just a holiday, but there are some extra things to consider with it being the honeymoon. Here’s a look at 4 items that you may or may not need to sneak into your suitcase for the hubby.

Disposable Camera

With the existence of smartphones and the ability to take pictures at your own free will, the need for a disposable camera doesn’t seem entirely necessary. However, the picture you get once you have developed the camera will be a tangible copy of some of your favourite honeymoon memories. And even if they come out terribly it’s still a fun memory to look back on.

Sleepwear

Regardless of what you normally sleep in at home, it’s worth buying some new womens sleepwear and a little surprise for your hubby. Everything changes once you get married and buying something new and maybe a little unusual from what you would normally buy will keep your new husband guessing and looking forward to a life of happy little surprises.

A lot of White

Nothing highlights that you’re on your honeymoon more than constantly smiling, holding hand and public displays of emotion. But if you want to add to that, white summer dresses, swimsuits and outfits with keep your husband and anyone in the same hotel reminded that you’re a brand new wife.

A Selfie Stick

Ok, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but you will want to have a lot of pictures from the honeymoon, and you will also want a lot of pictures together as a newlywed couple! The selfie stick can be a good idea when you go to the more remote locations of the trip and you have no one to politely as for a picture.

Most importantly, don’t forget to leave space in your suitcase for souvenirs as you’ll want to have plenty of memorable trinkets from the trip!
